Norwalk Tree Alliance | Preserve & Enhance Our Urban Forest

About Norwalk Tree Alliance

Since its founding, the Norwalk Tree Alliance has been dedicated to enhancing our city’s green spaces. With the support of volunteers, donors, and local businesses, we have planted over 500 trees, educated more than 2,000 students, and partnered with over 10 local schools to promote environmental education.

Our Programs & Initiatives

Every tree we plant contributes to a greener, healthier Norwalk. From workshops to school partnerships, we empower students and residents with the knowledge and skills to care for trees and understand their importance. Learn more about how we’re making a difference through advocacy and community efforts.

Successful Tree Planting on Private Property
“I couldn’t be happier with the FREE tree planting I got from the Norwalk Tree Alliance on my property! The team was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly passionate about their mission. Not only did they plant a beautiful baby native tree, but they also took the time to educate me on how to care for it properly year-round. My yard will have more shade, and I know I’m contributing to a healthier environment. I highly recommend supporting their efforts!” – Lisa P., Norwalk Resident

Arbor Day Celebration at Rowayton Elementary
“Our school’s Arbor Day celebration with the Norwalk Tree Alliance was an unforgettable experience for our students. The team provided an engaging and educational program that taught our kids about the importance of trees, conservation, and environmental stewardship. The highlight of the day was planting a tree together—students felt a real sense of pride knowing they were contributing to the future of our community. We can’t wait to work with them again!” – Mrs. Emily T., 2nd Grade Teacher
